HVOF coat screw

HVOF coating is mostly used to deposit wear and corrosion-resistant coatings on materials like ceramic and metallic layers. Molten or semi-molten materials are sprayed onto the surface by means of the high temperature and high-velocity gas steam so that it produces a dense spray coating that can be of a high surface finish. The adhesive force is 10,000 psi & the powder density can achieve 99.8% which offers outstanding performance in wear & corrosion resistance. The material that is used in a bimetallic screw is Tungsten Carbide Alloy to achieve the surface hardness of 60-65 HRC. The available diameter sizes are 14mm to 200mm and the available length can go upto 6 meters long. The process method using which a bimetallic screw is made is the HVOF Spray method. It is a speciality for halogen free material with glass-filled content below 65%.
